Goldza Fair Offer Checker

The Goldza Fair Offer Checker is a free browser calculator and reusable web component for comparing a South African gold buyer's net offer with calculated metal value.

What it calculates

The checker subtracts estimated non-gold weight, applies the selected karat purity, calculates metal value from a timestamped pure-gold price, subtracts stated fees from the buyer's offer, and reports the net offer as a percentage of melt value.

It supports 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, 22ct, and 24ct gold with visible 70%, 80%, 85%, and 90% comparison points.

Privacy and limits

Calculations stay in the browser. There is no account, analytics, lead form, cookie, server-side submission, or buyer ranking.

The result is a metal-only comparison, not an assay, jewellery valuation, transaction-safety check, or financial recommendation. Stones, collectability, workmanship, taxes, unstated deductions, and buyer trust remain outside the model.
